She blinked as she grabbed her phone from beside her head gently. She put the password in and looked at the text message. It was her brother's friend. She had met him when she came back a couple weeks ago, and he really hadn't left her alone since then. She sighed and texted him back. "Nothing much, just woke up from a nap not that long ago. What's going on with you?" She texted back to her.

His phone went off and he looked at it. He reached and picked it up. He read it and started typing. "Nothing much, trying to figure out what to do" he set his phone down again and got up. Walking to his window and pulling open the curtains and looked outside

She looked at her phone when it went off again. She was about to answer the text when her bedroom door opened. She looked to her brother who was standing there. "Mom wants to talk to you," he told as she nodded. She got up and left her room, walking down stairs leaving her phone behind. He walked and got her phone. He put in the password knowing what it was, frowning as he saw his best friend's texts. He hadn't talk to him all week, now he knew why. He locked the phone and left her room just as she came back shaking her head. She texts back when she read it. "Same here, I keep being bothered by my brother with stupid shit." She sighed setting her phone down again.

He walked back and grabbed his phone, in locking it and reading "What is he doing?" He tilted his head "He's not that bad. Then again I don't live with him" he said to himself. Setting his phone down again and stretching

"He is being a little brat. I hate my brother so much. I don't understand how you can possibly stand to be friends with such a stupid ass." She texted back before she leaned up in her bed. Before he could text back she grabbed her phone again. 'Why don't you come over, I need someone to hang out with."

He picked his phone back up and blushed faintly when he read her second text "Sure. I'll be over soon Smile

" he smiled and set down his phone. Walking to his closet and putting on a different shirt and pants and walked over. Putting his shoes on and grabbing his phone and keys before walking out of his room to to downstairs and out of the front door to his car. He got in and started it and reversed out of the driveway and started heading to her house

She yawned and got up, looking at herself in the mirror. She changed into a simple outfit. She walked down stairs, her hair curled slightly. Marcus stared at her with a raised eyebrow. "You ready for a date or something?" He asked as he bit into his sandwich. She shook her head. 'Nope, just having Derrick come over to hang," she said. Marcus choked and began coughing with a frown.

He looked around occasionally as he drove. Arriving at her house soon. He got out and locked it before walking up to her door, ringing the doorbell. He stood there, smiling gently

Marcus got up and opened the door to his friend. He turned and left, telling him to close the door when he came inside. He went back and sat down at the island again and continued to eat his sandwich. He paid no mind to him, not caring anymore. Beth looked at him giving him a smile. "Glad you came." She told him leaning against the counter gently.

He walked into the house, shutting the door after he did. He saw her and smiled back at her before glancing to Marcus then yo her, tilting his head and mouthing to her "He okay?" He said as he stood behind him

She looked down at her brother who was eating his chips now, his head bent down slightly. He looked angry. She shrugged and looked back to him. "I don't know." she mouthed back. Marcus slammed his hands on the table, standing. "Thanks for coming over when my sister wants you over, but not when I need you over," he said walking by him and up the stairs to his room.
